  1. insane drum sound and playing…this time signature is all over the place and Phil is so smooth…did i mention the drum sound of drum sounds?

  2. Thank you for uploading the whole album. This is my favourite album, and it opened my eyes to the capabilities of pop music. Genesis is genius. It brings back so many memories of my youth!

  3. Wonderful to hear the non-remastered version. The drum sound is much better on the original version. The remaster is too much of everything 🥁

  4. Thank You for the full album upload – Un remastered

  5. I held the book so tightly in my hands,
I saw your picture, heard you call my name
There was something strange, I could not look away
I wanted to be there, I wanted to go

    You gave me no warning
    You gave no reason
    But I was with you
    Right by your side
Just give me the strength, and I will help you
And they can try their hardest, cos they don't frighten me

It is written in the book

It is hotter than I've known before, but I feel so cold, and I don't know why
But if the fire within your heart can beat the storm
Then I really believe, you could make it right

Ooh the time has come now
    We must show our feelings
But I'm looking right through you
    And your heart is empty

Whatever happened to you it's too late to change now
There's nowhere you can run to, no place to hide
    Ah you let me down!

    …but wait a minute, I don't understand
It's getting stronger, so grab my hand
Don't wanna leave you, don't wanna go
    But I'm losing all control
Can't you see me? I'm slipping away
I can only stay if you've the will to keep me here

It is written in the book

Oh so many times since I've read those words
Just waiting to see you, can you see me?

  6. The only classic Genesis album I bought when it came out. I heard it a lot.

  7. I just realized that Albert is Donald Trump! Look at those tiny hands!

  8. Duke is to Genesis what Drama is to Yes

  9. I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums.
