“What I Miss Most” Official Performance & Meaning

The UK singer proves Britain’s got talent, alright. Scott was a finalist on the popular performance show, and thanks to a powerful voice and a heart-on-sleeve delivery, he’s parlayed it into a shot at global recognition. We invited him in for a solo performance of “What I Miss Most,” and as he explains, it’s a tribute to his hometown of Hull, and the way community grounds him whenever he’s feeling adrift. He calls the city his “sanctuary. It’s where I go whenever i feel a little bit overwhelmed by the [music] industry” and its trappings.
