Simpler times and better times. So much great music!
For the most part, I hated the disco era and it's cheesy vapid songs, but "Stayin' Alive" is a huge exception. Everything about this song works: the soothing rolling riff, the great lyrics, Barry's silly falsetto–all perfect. Play it and everyone in the room instantly picks up that little bounce. It's a masterpiece.

I was married in my 30’s with 2 young children when this came out but my husband & I would go to our local dances (small town) and everyone would be up and dancing! I have the DVD now & put it on occasionally! Love the Bee Gees!
