Vevo Meets: Chase Atlantic
Chase Atlantic – brothers Clinton and Mitchel Cave and Christian Anthony – formed in Australia in 2011, and the teens immediately started crafting a cool blend of alt-rock spiced with trap elements in their bedroom studio. The ambitious trio toured their homeland, released a pair of EPs, ‘Dalliance’ (2014) and ‘Nostalgia’ (2015), and scored a huge viral hit with the single “Friends.” The buzz was noticed by Joel and Benji Madden of Good Charlotte, who signed ‘em to their management company, MDDN. The trio just wrapped up a US tour with Sleeping With Sirens and dropped its self-titled debut album, featuring the stunning lead single/video “Okay.” In our Vevo Meets, the Aussie trio explains their earliest gigs, their hard time describing their band sound, and the fun of playing “Okay” on stage.
