Oshun – OSHUN Talk Living a Double Life

It’s not unusual to meet a life-long bestie in college. That’s def what happened to the women of OSHUN. Thandi and Niambi connected during orientation at New York University, and soon enough they were making very impressive music together. They named themselves after a West African diety of “sweet waters,” and their woke lyrics and soulful grooves are all about nudging elements of neo-soul and hip-hop into a singular spot. You’ve probably heard their “Sango” – pretty much irresistible. They’ve both graduated of late (and have a song to celebrate the achievement), and their ‘bittersweet vol. 1’ just dropped at the top of April. The music is all about “articulating a lot of the experiences we went through,” they say in our exclusive interview. Here’s a chance to learn more about them.

  1. Would have loved to do a collaboration with these Goddesses their frequency and vibrations are super high I have a song that would raise consciousness on a galactic scale!! πŸ”₯ πŸ”₯ πŸ”₯

  2. Sometimes you can really go to far with being eccentric that you make extreme lows and extreme highs a normalcy.
Only problem with this is when you force others with a more balanced interest in life to have to endure these extreme polarities. When they don't want to.
    Be balanced my sisters
