Who doesn’t remember the “Rocky” theme? It’s everything Philadelphia. I could only remember one of the vocalists names and that is Pigford. What beautiful lyrics, blending of voices and of course the orchestration. It’s not only a love song from back in the day, it’s a love song for NOW.

I heard Steve Lawrence sing this on Carol Burnett and I immediately thought plagiarism.
But now I know Bill Conti also wrote this, he merely added words to the Rocky Theme

A beautifuly performed rugged love song first heard by all in rocky 1.
Should of been a lot lot bigger and don't understand why it wasnt.
Stand up with all the best love songs this one..
The original artists de'etta little and Nelson pigford can't be touched on performance of this track.
Absolutely Fantastic..

I heard this a few weeks ago while watching Rocky. So beautiful. Loved that we can actually hear real instruments. Especially love the suitcase piano in the beginning. I was super surprised to discover the female voice , DeEtta Little, is the actress from my favorite Christmas movies!
