My favourite song by her in her entire discography. "Prisoner" is my second favourite from her debut album (other favourites of mine are some of her ballads from the album "Emotions" as well as her 1993 songs "Just to hold you once again" and "Do you think of me ?"). But "I don't wanna cry" is my absolute favourite. The melody is absolutely wonderful, the instrumentation is one-of-a-kind. No other ballad by Mariah sounds like this one. I don't know how to describe it, but someting about this song is unique. Not an ordinary ballad, and very powerful. Also the art cover for this single (including the b-side "You need me") has always fascinated me.
