Helen & Quincy from the illustrious Bakehouse Studios in Abbotsford, Australia have had the likes of Nick Cave, Gotye and Elvis Costello all roll through their studios. Their Abbotsford sounds like the dinging of trams, the hum of 10,000 cars, and the rumbling of trains overhead. See why they love the live, loud and local sounds of the area.

Wow .
Awesome
Who else loves music ? : )
Incredible. That's the spirit of Melb for you.
Is there any way to get the song that the video culminates in at the end? Those tunes are wicked man, I want that soundtrack
So cool, we are all a product of all our movements and vibrations of a city.
I love living in Abbotsford
This gives me anxiety
This video is better than any other YouTube music “ my neighbour” episode
So will there be a sound track dedicated to junkies screaming ?
Collingwood flats Yeah boi
I like silence your going to destroy Earth you are freaks that need to be arrested
Im sick of australia shoving multiculturism in my face. They are trying too hard , its getting filthy.
Who else thought it was abbotsford sydney
That is not what Abbotsford is. The river, Convent, Nicholson St, the Café’s… that’s Abbotsford.
Change the name of this to sounds of Victoria St.
This is a promotion for the dilution and overwriting of Australian culture. Also, the city looks like a ghetto shithole
🍏
This is highlighting Victoria Street, which one side is in Richmond (the busy side), the other side Abbotsford (the dead quiet side).. you built this video representing the wrong suburb..
Dubbed on train horn sample… never heard any Melbourne train sound like that.
Dusk Steven Bryant
Well that was just awful
When I lived in Abbotsford I avoided all the places in this video. Thanks for ignoring all the great iconic landmarks the community has to offer in favour of pushing your agenda.
Abbortsford is having ice addicts congregate at the front of my apartment screaming at each other as they battle for the scraps on the street. Nice video, but not very accurate.
I grew up in abotsford, 50 Staford st, prim school was Victoria park, the best years of my life back then!
Abbotsford is actually pretty gentrified and white…
What multiculturalism all i see is Chinese.
H
Victoria St – noisy, crowded, traffic congested, Vietnamese – usually perceived as being in Richmond. Abbotsford usually has a very different image (quiet, leafy, boring)
Its like im automagically becoming a filthy human garbage junkie, in real time!
1 half is real nice with nice apartments and beer gardens and the other half there are junkies and abo's hanging around the main street with all these broken down looking shops lol
why was this editing so overly dramatic i'm hyperventilating
ew
melbourne I love you and miss you!!
the pretentious white guilt is strong here
Blackpink
Was super confused thought this was the super racist city of Abbotsford in British Columbia, where the biker gangs and anti-vaxxers live. Thought that was a really odd choice.
