The only sounds I hear in Windsor these days are hipsters, yuppies and overly pretentious rich wanksters moaning and complaining on how they can't eat their boiled vegan egg off the footpath while drinking a soy latte out of doggy dish these days?!! These people have come and moved in destroying everything that used to make Prahran/Windsor so great decades back as a hard working town. They are a living plague that gentrifies a whole area and makes the area so lame with their ball slapping man bun wearing fake ways. Completely destroyed the area I used love coming to in the 1980's, pray that this human decay don't come your street and urbanise gentrify your town?!!!……. Garbage!

My old stomping ground. It lost it's magic for me mid to late 90s but it seems to be making a resurgence. I don't know why people like the posh end of Chapel, it's so plastic and pretentious. Commercial/Malvern to Dandy Road makes Chapel St what it is. Gritty, Earthy and verging on Bohemian (like Greville used to be until it was murdered!!)

I used to live in Windsor/Prahran in early 1990s, although it is next to South Yarra, it was a poor area, however there are a lot of shops, very good public transport and not far from St Kilda Beach and Jam Factory.

As in the Windsor with the oldest operating pub in Australia and so much other history even the height of the gutters still reflect the time that they made up part of the old Cob&co stage coach step.. Not this yuppie fest place shown in the vid which must be in VIC.
